Lazy day

I am lucky I don't have children to care.
I could sleep a lot today.

If I were a doctor with children, how would I manage?
It must be too hard.

I go humble

I go humble only when I'm in an unfamiliar place.
There are lot of things I don't know.

I tend to be arrogant at my workplace.
I have to be more humble.

I want to be humble

I am just a soul whose intentions are good.
Please don't let me be misunderstood.

It's so quiet at my workplace.
There are no cheerful person to make the place noisy.
It may be good to work hard but we need to entertain ourselves once in a while.

It's rather dark.
I shouldn't blame it on anybody.
It may be my fault.

I hope you will turn over a new leaf and improve your behavior.

Once you turned over a new leaf.
Then you tore right through it.

Whatever your father taught you , you didn't believe it.
You still don't understand.

Laugh and live a happy life without dementia

The doctor I met today was really nice.
He is 84 years old but still cheerful.

The wrinkles are not a sign of aging.
They show how many hard times you have overcome.

We should take good care of old people.
We should pay respect for them.

He says if you laugh a lot, you will not get dementia.

Now he runs a clinic without any medicines or examinations.
He has only a blood-pressure monitor and a stethoscope.
He sees patients for free.
The patients have a family doctor to get prescribed medicines.
They come to see this 84-year-old doctor for another opinion which they can't ask for their family doctor.

The doctor is really nice.

I roam and rampage

There is another way to make up for deficiencies in language ability.

I'm eager to speak foreign languages but I still can't open my heart to the world.
At least I have proactive instinct.

Is shyness a sign of wisdom?

Two tragedies produced by gun

A Korean student shot many people with his gun and killed himself in Virginia.
In Japan a yakuza shot Nagasaki mayor.

The Korean students was always lonely.
He had once written about death.
His professor thought he was dangerous and told him to have a counseling.
What made him do it?

The yakuza killed the mayor because he was he had something against Nagasaki city.

Why do people go violent so suddenly?

It's so quiet

We should be more cheerful at work.
I don't mean we should be noisy.
We don't seem to be enjoying working.

I want to be good at small talk.
How can we be happy at work?

English is the most difficult in European languages

There are too many vocabularies in English.
The grammar is a little fuzzy.
And there are many exceptions.

The disconnection

Yesterday the telephone line was disconnected for about an hour for some reason.
After the line was connected we could work without trouble.

Today we had the same trouble and waited for one hour.
But this time the line wasn't connected again.

We had to use the public telephone for work.
It was funny.
Everytime we make a phone call, we had to put coins in the phone.

The telephone company said the thunder broke the connecting machine.
The thunder?
There was a big thunder last Saturday.
Today is Thursday.
The machine was almost dead on the day but it had worked somehow till today.

Now we have only one telephone line until the new machine arrives.
It's really inconvenient.

It's a really fuzzy reason.

Antiaging and cooking oil

Butter is much better than margarine.

You should take less linolic acid and take more alpha- linolenic acid.

You don't have to worry about cholesterol in food.
