German traveller mistakes Sidney, US for Australian city

I'm so sorry for him.

I may make a same mistake.
I've learned a lesson from his mistake for my own benefit.



BERLIN (AFP) - A German apprentice insurance salesman who wanted to visit his girlfriend in Australia ended up in smalltown America after buying a ticket on the Internet for Sidney in the US state of Montana.

Bild newspaper said 21-year-old Tobias Gutt's detour was the result of a spelling mistake as he had failed to notice that the Australian harbour city is in fact called Sydney.

I want to throw away all the empty bottles and other garbages!!

I took all the aluminum cans , steel cans and pet bottles to the supermarket to put them in a recycle box.
There were some boxes but all of them were full.

Everybody cleans their house because it's the end of the year.
I was not in the mood for cleaning but I managed to vacuum my apartment.
The windows are dirty but I don't have guts to clean them now.

There are a lot of garbages.
I want to throw them away before I drown to death.

A drowning man will catch at a straw.

The last day

Today is the last work day this year.
And one of my co-workers is taking a maternity leave.
The baby's due is at the end of February.
I hope she's going to have a healty baby.

I want her to come back some day.

I downloaded two songs of IL DIVO.
One is "Por ti seré" , the Spanish version of "You raise me up".
The other is "Desde el día que te fuiste" , the Spanish version of "Without you".

I like these songs so much.
I sing them in karaoke.
I want to practice singing them in Spanish.

Maybe my friend would like me to sing these songs in Spanish.

A drunken man

Here came a troublemaker.
The old man looked insane.

A comedian and an actress announced their engagement last night.
The comedian's parents' house happens to be near our workplace.

The old man said he wanted to see the comedian's house.
And all he was speaking made no sense.
He danced a weird dance.
He wouldn't go home no matter how hard we tried to make him go out.

So we called the security.
The security man couldn't make him calm down, so he called the police.
Two policemen came and got him out.

After a while, the wife of the old man came to apologize.
The wife has a heart disease and almost alcoholic husband.

We sympathize with her.

Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.

The flying thoroughbred

This year's Arima kinen horse race is the last race for Deep Impact.

He seemed calm before the race.
One of the race horses was unwilling to get in the gate.
The staffs were having a lot of trouble to calm down the horse.
It was funny.

Anyway, the race started.
At the beginning ,Deep Impact was running slowly as usual.
When the goal was coming closer, he started to spurt.

He was so fast like he was flying.
He was so beautiful.
No ohter horse was able to follow him.

And he won!
It was a wonderful victory.

Making money out of used books

I sold some comic books at a recycle bookstore.
I got 1,750 yen. Not bad.

I like small money.
From small to big. I will be rich.

I have to work from 4 p.m. till late at night.
That's all right. I'm off tomorrow.

You shouldn't keep your worries to yourself

Blood shortage

They say they need more blood, so I went to the blood donation. It's the second time this month.
I usually give blood plasma only , but they asked me to give whole blood.
So I did.

In winter less people do blood donation.
I think I could be some help.

A survivor

A man was found almost dead after he had lost in a mountain and stayed there for more than twenty days with no food.
But he came back to life.

They say he was in the state of hibernation.
It's unbelievable.
It's a mystery.

Internacional is the Club World Cup champion

None of the players in Internacional went to the World Cup but they beat FC Barcelona.

Barcelona is the best football club in the world.
It has many members who played in the World Cup but they couldn't win.

Brazil has many possibilities.

My teeth are beautiful.
I want to keep them till I die.

I went to a dentist to clean my teeth completely.
The tartars must be removed.

The dentist showed me the horror of gum disease.
Tartars make your teeth weak and finally you lose your teeth.

The problem is I have three wisdom teeth coming out but not grow up enough to the length of other teeth.
So it's difficult to brush those teeth.
If I don't brush well, they may cause a gum disease.
I will not make this happen.

Life is easy?

I saw a twenty-year-old girl with a three-year-old daughter.
She is a single parent but she doesn't take it seriously.

I wish I could live like her.
It seems so easy for her to live a hard life.
It may not hard for her to live.

Keep it simple, stupid.
It's me who makes everything complicated.

Vaccination

I got a flu shot today at a pediatric clinic.
It didn't hurt at all.

I guess pediatricians are good at injection because they have to fight with crying children who hates it.

I always have a slight fever in winter but it doesn't matter at all.
