The phantom of the opera

I'm going to see the musical on July 12.

Have fun!
You deserve it.

Burning down the dog

Somebody burned a dead dog in a park because it was the place of a lot of memories for them.
The person was arrested because it was a minor offense.
It is a funny and sad story.

Generations will come and go

My co-worker gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday morning.

Congratulations!

On the other hand, my former co-worker is going to quit the job to take care of her old father.

It's a pity and I'm scared.

If I have to lose my job for my family, what will I think?
What will I do?

I have to face the fact that my parents are aging.
But they are still healthy.
It's lucky for me.

Cherish your brain

I attended the seminar on brain.
It was interesting.

By training your brain, even a 99-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease could learn English.
It was amazing.

To activate your brain you should ;
read, write and calculate,
communicate with others,
and make something with your hands.

Cooking, playing musical instruments, drawing pictures. ..

I want to stay young and healthy by cherishing my brain.

Work effectively

Yesterday we did stock-taking.
We could finish the work before ten pm.
It was earlier than I expected.
Preparation is very important to work effectively.

Baby Post

I read about "Baby Post" in a hospital.
You can leave your baby in the post when you think you can't raise the baby.

Is it good or bad?
At least the baby can survive.

The birthrate is going up

The birthrate of Japan in 2006 seems to be more than 1.3.
We are going to see some hope for our future.
That's not what I really think.

I'm afraid I'm going to be left behind since I don't have any children.
If you haven't experienced childbirth, the risk of breast cancer goes up.
For what do I want to have a child?

For health?
I don't want to lose the competition?
What kind of competition?

Somebody said life is not a competition...

Do you think by saying I'm sorry all the past can be corrected?

If I remember correctly, this is what Rhett Butler says to Scarlett O'Hara.

I want to say this someday.

You belong in the past.

Stay hungry, stay foolish

Thank You, Steve Jobs.
I like Mac.

Me minus you equals none

Really?

Your latest sin tore my heart apart.

Really?

I just wanted to say so.

The songs of Beautiful South inspire me something.

Tokyo Marathon

I want to take part in the event someday.

Yesterday I went to Suga Shikao concert in Osaka.
It was fun.

the collaboration

While the painter was painting, the contrabass player was playing strange music.
It was exciting.
It took about thirty minutes for the painter to finish the painting.
It was a picture of a man and a black goat holding each other.
The music was so-called improvisation,I guess.
Both the picture and the music were beyond my understanding.
But it was a very exciting moment.

I want to express my complicated feelings in a form of art.
The art may set my heart free.

Obituary

An astronomer's obituary was a little bit strange.
He didn't need a funeral and a grave because he had no religion.
He wanted people who had known him to write letters about him to his wife and daughter.

I read this article in a newspaper.
His family got many letters and were able to know unknown part of his life.

I think it is a wonderful idea.

I'm too busy.

Happiness comes from sacrificing yourself for others.

I only go to the cinema once in a blue moon these days.

Secret Santa

I heard about Secret Santa in America.
Larry Stewart was poor and he had no money to pay for the food he ate.
But the owner of the diner gave him money pretending he picked up the money under the chair.

The kindness changed Larry.
He started giving money to poor people.

From Wikipedia.
After poor beginnings, Stewart had – from 1979 through 2006 – made a practice of anonymously handing out small amounts of cash, typically in the form of hundred dollar bills, to needy people. The total amount he gave away is estimated to be 1.3 million dollars.

English speaking skill

I got the result of English speaking and writing test.
My speaking ability was lower than I expected.
The score was 130. The perfect score is 200.

But the score for the writing ability is 200.
I got full marks.

I can write so I hope I can speak better.

Lesson of Phonetics

I want to know more about languages.
I need more knowledge of culture.

The secret life of words

He doesn't like to be with the others. He's a loner, too.
There are many of us.

English and me

I take a good score at English language exams.
The problem is I still can't find a good way to make good use of my English.
I want to know how to apply my English ability to practical field.

Household chores

I cleaned the apartment.
There are lot of foods to buy.
I want to eat vegetables.
It's not cooking that I really want to do.
I just want to stay healthy, so all I want to eat is something good to my body.
It doesn't matter the food tastes good or not.

Is there something wrong with me?
Maybe something is wrong.

Let's get out of "working poor"

No matter how hard you work, you are still with a lot of debt.
When do you open your eyes?
Face the fact.
Life is too short to play silly games.

What's " work-life balance"?

It's all right to work hard but it's a pity to spend all the money for drink and women..

Thursday, February 08, 2007

Neither one of us have children from the first marriage,

so that's not a complication.

I wish I could say so.

Take it easy

There are a lot of things to do.
It's a fiscal term.

It's a kind of warm...why?

There are only a few flu patients.
We have many packets of Tamiflu left.
What does this weather mean?

Monday, February 05, 2007

There's nothing permanent except change.

Who moved my cheese?
They always move my cheese away.

I learned I should enjoy the change when I read "Who moved my cheese?".
Sometimes I forget it.
Remember, nothing lasts forever.

Fake it until you make it!

If you can dream it , you can do it.
Let your subconscious move.

It's all right for you to feel anxious.
You get anxious because there is a possibility to succeed.
The bigger your anxiety is, the closer the success is.

Saturday, February 03, 2007

I wish I could live as a man.

It's not gender identity disorder.
I have a woman's intuition, so I can sense the sign of infidelity.

I shouldn't trust anyone from the bottom of my heart.
Everybody has a secret.

No more pain.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)

I pre-ordered this book at Amazon.
The book will be released on July 21.
I have to finish reading "Train -Man" until the day.
