Former Russian Leader Boris Yeltsin, 76, Dies

Former Russian president Boris Yeltsin, who played a leading role in
the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 and propelled the
democratization and market economy reforms of Russia, died on Monday
at the age of 76.
