anywhere but here

If I run away far from here, will I be free from the burden?

No. It's impossible.

Wherever I am, I am what I am.

budget allocation for sympathy

Japan and U.S. Agree on Marine Transfer

Japan and the United States have reached an agreement in which Tokyo
will pay 59 percent of the cost of transferring 8,000 U.S. Marines from
Okinawa to the American territory of Guam, the chief of the Japanese
Defense Agency announced on Monday.

Where does the money come from?
Do we really have to pay for it?
We should spend the money for falling birthrate and for aging society.

sorrow floats

Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of a train derailment that killed over 100 people in western Japan.

The train derailment killed 107 people and injured 555 others on April 25, after a West Japan Railway train on the Fukuchiyama Line derailed and slammed into an apartment building in Amagasaki.

The family of victims are still deep in sorrow.
Why did this happen?

spring is a cruel season

Fifty years after the official recognition of Minamata disease.
Twenty years after the nuclear meltdown at Chernobyl.

One year after the great accident of JR Takarazuka line.

People's mind is too unstable at this time of year.

One of my co-worker is going to quit next month.
I guess he has some mental problem.

I'm also restless.
But I'll take it easy and get it over.

you always give me a brighter sky

I want you to share this loneliness with me.

Someday never comes.
It's now or never.

Try to change yourself.

Saturday, April 22, 2006

Pull yourself together

Bad imagination makes you unhappy.
See the fact.
What are you so scared about?
Don't use your imagination too much.

blowing in the wind

It was very windy today.

It's the cruel wind that tears us apart.

The sorrow should not be here.
It should not be around.
Because I don't want it.

Now the storm is breaking within my heart.

listen to me now

It doesn't matter at all how much you owe me.

It's time to try your strength.
You push me up to this state of emergency.

love cuts just like a knife

Tell me that you'll never ever leave me.
Then you go ahead and leave me.
What the hell is going on?

How the hell do I go on?

a hole in the heart

Untouchable memories seem to keep haunting me.

Now my heart is just a rainy day.

You'd better try to have fun no matter what you do.

how did you go bankrupt?

Two ways.

Gradually ,and then suddenly.

Ernest Hemingway, The Sun Also Rises

like a bird without a song

Nothing can stop these lonely tears from falling.
It's been so lonely without you here.

We are far away now.
Still we can meet again someday as long as we live.

But there's going to be another lie not to hurt each other.

don't keep me in suspense

Don't keep me in the dark.
My heart is breaking.

Too many words are left unspoken.
The silent voices are driving me crazy.

Stay.

honesty is the best policy

I can tell when you are lying.

Whatever happens, I say "yes" to my life.
That's what Leni Riefenstahl said.

I will never give up.

Learn from yesterday,
live for today,
hope for tomorrow.

The important thing is not to stop questioning.

a rolling stone gathers no moss

you are always on the go.
I am sometimes anxious.

I will be critical , but not negative.

If you fail , you can go bankrupt.
If you die, I get ten million yen by your life insurance.

I am not negative, just being critical.

You should always think of risk management.

infectious gastroenteritis

I suffered from vomiting and stomach pain on Sunday afternoon.
The symptom lasted until midnight.
I couldn't stand it , so I went to the nighttime emergency medical center , where I worked the day before.

I got a pain killer injection.
But it didn't do any good.

I suffered until around 2 a.m. , then I got better little by little.
I guess the bacteria were dying because of the antibiotic.

slow life with deer

There are many deer in Nara.
When I watch them I feel peace.

They sell " deer cracker" in Nara park.
The cracker is made from rice and contains no sugar.

There are many " deer cracker stand" in Nara Park.
The visitors buy crackers and feed the deer.

The deer like the cracker so much.
When they find someone holding the crackers, they get together and go along with the person.

It's a funny and comfortable scenery.

Many a little makes a mickle?

Many a little makes a miracle?
Is it wrong?
Maybe.

But I'd like to say "many a little makes a miracle.
One day it will come.

I will make a small effort every day.
Some day something will happen.

national examination for pharmacist

They passed the exam.

The exam pass rate is 74.25% .
It's down 10 % compared to last year.
What does this mean?
The ministry believes there is going to be too many pharmacists in the future.
So they are trying to reduce the successful applicants?

The one applicant is a new comer.
She passed it on her first trial.

The other one failed last year.
She concentrated on study for one year and passed it finally.
What a relief!

the moment of truth

Do whatever you want.
Ohmae Kenichi says.

He's the ex-partner of Mckinsey & Company Japan.
He's the first class person in business and having fun.

When the moment of truth comes and you realize you haven't lived your own life.
What will you do?
Your life should be different from others.

You shouldn't hesitate to do what you want.
At least you have to be responsible for yourself, your family, your society and your country.
Then you can live as you like.

2.2 grams of natrium

I bought a lunch box at seven-eleven.
The food contained 2.2 grams of natrium.
That means more than 4 grams of natrium chloride.
NO! Taking too much NaCl is bad for your health.

You should take enough kalium to get rid of natrium from your body.
So eat enough veggies and fruits.

gluttony, greed, lust, pride, wrath, sloth and envy.

How about a lie?
To lie is not a sin?

A man can tell a thousand lies.

looking for a missing piece

I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Now I know how much I depend on other people.
I've been pretending to be independent.
But I just haven't faced the reality.

Reality bites.

Do whatever you want

Some say life is short, others say life is long.
Which is correct?

I want to live a long life.
There are a lot to do.

I should not hesitate.
Life is long but it's easy to waste time.

Don't wait for tomorrow.
Do it now.
