The right to die

I saw the movie "The Sea Inside" (Mar Adentro) on DVD.
The theme of the movie is euthanasia.

The man in the movie has been in bed for more than 25 years.
He had an accident at the sea and since then he can't move his body at all.
He acts like he's happy but he's just good at hiding his deep sorrow.
Death is always on his mind.

At last he dies with a help of his friends.
Now he's happy.

If I were him, I would do the same.
I don't want live longer in the situation like this.

But the topic must be a controversy.
