Japan to seek UNSC resolution on sanctions against North Korea

The Japanese government has decided to seek a U.N. Security Council (UNSC) resolution to impose sanctions against North Korea under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter in retaliation for its alleged underground nuclear test, officials said Tuesday.
