history of aromatherapy?

I took the aromatherapy exam.
I shoud have studied more about history of aromatherapy.
but I guess I could manage it.

there were two smelling test.
one was clary sage and the other was rosemary.
it was easy.

I'm interested in aromatherapy as a way of alternative medicine.
I want to study about it more and chinese medicine to be a general therapist.
